ABOUT US

Stak Ceramics began in 2011 as a creative collaboration between Myles Geyman and Heather Connolly.  Myles studied sculpture at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and Industrial design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Heather also studied at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago focusing on painting and ceramics. Stak Ceramics is a marriage of Myles’ understanding of form and product development, and Heather’s knowledge of ceramic process, design and composition. Our process consists of multiple techniques including, wheel throwing, mold making and slip casting.  The objective of Stak Ceramics is to offer high quality, handmade housewares with a contemporary aesthetic and overall purpose of everyday use.
